Story[]
With Piche taken and his followers dead, there is no meaning left to Capehorn's life - or to his ambition of remaking the world without the gods' Unwritten Law. The cardinal sets his papers and the work of his life to fire, and awaits Wilmgard's coming.
Defeated, Capehorn curses the gods who would not answer his people's plight and the Tiamats who exiled him for meddling with the Unwritten Law. With his last words, he expresses regret with being unable to save his granddaughter.
The Past Revisited[]
Capehorn notices the talents of a poor peasant's daughter, Yelma, and brings her to Aventheim Castle as his apprentice. He reveals that he has the actual texts of the Unwritten Law, and offers it to her in exchange for help with summoning a being of the Underworld. Hungry for power, Yelma agrees.
