Goriate is an island that floats high above the land of Riviera. It is an island tainted with eternal darkness on which the Magus Hector resides. Hector's Palace, the Maze of Shadows is stationed here. Goriate can be accessed by traveling through Heaven's Gate; theoretically, one may also be able to fly or teleport here if they are capable of doing so.
