Amareus is an assassin in her twenties who serves Cardinal Juvelon and is one of the head Meriants. She wears an Islamic-looking khimār that obscures her face. Amareus is mindlessly devoted to Juvelon and if the player manages to defeat Juvelon in battle before she is, Amareus kills herself on the spot. She is voiced by Sato Akemi in the PSP version.
